{"id":96365,"date":"2022-05-10T16:58:34","date_gmt":"2022-05-10T22:58:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kuali.com.mx\/web\/?p=96365"},"modified":"2022-05-10T21:41:43","modified_gmt":"2022-05-11T03:41:43","slug":"madres-mexicanas-viven-en-pobreza-y-desigualdad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kuali.com.mx\/web\/2022\/05\/10\/madres-mexicanas-viven-en-pobreza-y-desigualdad\/","title":{"rendered":"MADRES MEXICANAS VIVEN EN POBREZA Y DESIGUALDAD"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>CIMAC\/Ciudad de M\u00e9xico.- <\/strong>El D\u00eda de las Madres en M\u00e9xico fue instaurado en mayo de 1922, cuando la Iglesia, personajes y pol\u00edticos conservadores, intentaron silenciar las voces de decenas de feministas que proclamaban diversas demandas sobre la maternidad impuesta, que era consagrada por la sociedad como el fin \u00fanico de una mujer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 1916 se realiz\u00f3 el Primer congreso feminista en M\u00e9rida, Yucat\u00e1n, con el fin de discutir el papel de las mujeres en el Estado, la educaci\u00f3n, las artes, sufragio femenino y educaci\u00f3n sexual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fue entonces cuando las mujeres emprendieron campa\u00f1as en las que se entregaban folletos informativos, los cuales hablaban sobre m\u00e9todos de protecci\u00f3n para evitar el embarazo. Sin embargo, la difusi\u00f3n de esta informaci\u00f3n comenz\u00f3 a tambalear a ciertos sectores de la poblaci\u00f3n, quienes consideraron estas acciones como una \u201ccampa\u00f1a criminal contra la maternidad\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los encargados de promover este discurso fueron los integrantes del peri\u00f3dico Exc\u00e9lsior, en especial Rafael Alducin, fundador y primer director del medio. En una convocatoria p\u00fablica lanzada en el diario, se hizo un llamado para instituir un d\u00eda que permitiera celebrar a las madres mexicanas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con este mensaje en realidad se buscaba frenar las demandas de las mujeres que comenzaban a retumbar en varios rincones del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHoy, que en el extremo meridional del pa\u00eds se ha venido emprendiendo una campa\u00f1a suicida y criminal en contra de la maternidad, cuando en Yucat\u00e1n elementos oficiales no han vacilado en lanzarse a una propaganda grotesca, denigrando la m\u00e1s alta funci\u00f3n de la mujer, que no s\u00f3lo consiste en dar a luz sino en educar a los hijos que forma su carne, es preciso que la sociedad entera manifieste, con una f\u00f3rmula banal si se quiere, pero profundamente significativa, que no hemos llegado de ninguna manera a esa aberraci\u00f3n que predican los racionalistas exaltados, sino que, lejos de ello, sabemos honrar a la mujer que nos dio la vida\u201d, se le\u00eda en publicaciones de la \u00e9poca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta postura fue apoyada por el entonces secretario de Educaci\u00f3n P\u00fablica, Jos\u00e9 Vasconcelos, quien ofreci\u00f3 a \u201cla ni\u00f1ez escolar\u201d de M\u00e9xico para que rindiera homenaje a las \u201cabnegadas madres\u201d. La Iglesia cat\u00f3lica hizo lo propio y legitimaron la campa\u00f1a iniciada por Exc\u00e9lsior para \u201chacer un culto\u201d a la mujer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La necesidad del sector conservador del pa\u00eds de perpetuar roles y estereotipos de g\u00e9nero motiv\u00f3 la creaci\u00f3n del Monumento a la madre, en 1932, a cargo del arquitecto Jos\u00e9 Villagr\u00e1n Garc\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cA la que nos am\u00f3 antes de conocernos\u201d, se puede leer en la placa colocada debajo de la escultura.
