Carlos Garc\u00eda\/Guanajuato, Gto.-<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0 El veh\u00edculo del periodista, Antonio Abundiz, fue quemado y el ataque puede estar ligado a notas sobre \u00a0abusos de la polic\u00eda del municipio de Guanajuato, inform\u00f3 la organizaci\u00f3n Art\u00edculo 19.<\/p>\n

La unidad estaba estacionada a fuera de la casa del comunicador y fue incendiada a las 23: 30 horas del viernes 29 de mayo.<\/p>\n

\u201cEl periodista se encontraba en su domicilio cuando escuch\u00f3 una detonaci\u00f3n afuera. Al salir para ver de qu\u00e9 se trataba, observ\u00f3 a su veh\u00edculo en llamas\u201d, relat\u00f3 la organizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

El reportero del portal Ecos de Cuevano apag\u00f3 las llamas con una cubeta con agua y denunci\u00f3 el hecho ante las autoridades correspondientes, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Art\u00edculo 19.<\/p>\n

Antonio Abundiz, con una trayectoria de 30 a\u00f1os en el periodista, nunca hab\u00eda sido amenazado, ni hab\u00eda vivido una situaci\u00f3n de violencia, refiere la agrupaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

\u201cDesconoce de d\u00f3nde vino el ataque pero considera que pudo derivar de notas recientes que public\u00f3 referente al abuso polic\u00edaco de elementos municipales en Guanajuato\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Agreg\u00f3 que en las notas documento que polic\u00edas han ingresado violenta y arbitrariamente a viviendas de ciudadanos.<\/p>\n

\u201cResulta preocupante la gravedad de la agresi\u00f3n cometida en contra del periodista, as\u00ed como el riesgo en que se encuentra su integridad personal\u201d, refiri\u00f3.<\/p>\n

El presidente municipal -emanado del Partido Acci\u00f3n Nacional- Alejandro Navarro Salda\u00f1a, debe condenar p\u00fablicamente estos hechos y \u201ctomar medidas necesarias para garantizar la vida e integridad personal del periodista\u201d, exigi\u00f3 Art\u00edculo 19.<\/p>\n

Solicit\u00f3 al alcalde que colabore con las autoridades encargadas de la investigaci\u00f3n para que los responsables sean sancionados.<\/p>\n

Para la organizaci\u00f3n, la quema del veh\u00edculo, tiene la intenci\u00f3n de silenciar la labor period\u00edstica.<\/p>\n

\u201cEs un hecho deleznable que no debe quedar impune\u201d y el Mecanismo de Protecci\u00f3n para Personas Defensoras de Derechos Humanos y Periodistas debe otorgar medidas de protecci\u00f3n de con car\u00e1cter urgente, consider\u00f3.<\/p>\n

La Fiscal\u00eda Especial para la Atenci\u00f3n de Delitos contra la Libertad de Expresi\u00f3n (FEADLE) y la Comisi\u00f3n Nacional de Derechos Humanos (CNDH) deben investigar el caso en el \u00e1mbito de sus competencias, refiri\u00f3.<\/p>\n

El 18 de mayo, a trav\u00e9s de la p\u00e1gina de Facebok, Antonio Abundiz, public\u00f3 una entrevista con la regidora, Margarita Rionda, sobre la denuncia de una familia que acus\u00f3 a un grupo de polic\u00edas de ingresar a su domicilio en el Mineral de Santa Rosa de Lima buscando \u201chuachicol\u201d.<\/p>\n
