Roberts y Meredith David, de la Escuela de Negocios Hankamer de la Universidad Baylor, en Texas, fue publicada este martes en la revista especializada Computers in Human Behavior.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los expertos realizaron dos encuestas separadas en las que incluyeron a 53 adultos en Estados Unidos, para conocer los efectos que tiene en la relaci\u00f3n de pareja el denominado \"Phubbing\".<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cLo que descubrimos fue que cuando alguien percibe que su pareja le esta haciendo \u2018phubbing\u2019, eso crea conflictos y conduce a que se reporten niveles m\u00e1s bajos de satisfacci\u00f3n en la relaci\u00f3n\u201d, explic\u00f3 Roberts, a trav\u00e9s de un comunicado.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cEstos menores niveles de satisfacci\u00f3n de la relaci\u00f3n, a su vez, conducen a niveles m\u00e1s bajos de satisfacci\u00f3n con la vida y, en definitiva, a niveles m\u00e1s altos de depresi\u00f3n\u201d, dijo Roberts en la nota en la que la Universidad Baylor divulg\u00f3 los resultados del estudio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En la primera consulta participaron 308 adultos y ayud\u00f3 a Roberts y a David a desarrollar una escala de nueve puntos comunes que los encuestados identificaron como comportamientos de distracci\u00f3n o rechazo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La escala resultante incluy\u00f3 afirmaciones como: Mi pareja coloca su tel\u00e9fono m\u00f3vil donde se puede ver cuando estamos juntos, o mi pareja mantiene su tel\u00e9fono celular en la mano cuando \u00e9l o ella est\u00e1 conmigo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Adem\u00e1s de afirmaciones como: Mi pareja mira su tel\u00e9fono celular al hablar conmigo. Si hay una pausa en la conversaci\u00f3n, mi pareja verificara su tel\u00e9fono celular.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El estudio indic\u00f3 que el desarrollo de la escala es significativa, ya que mostr\u00f3 que el \u201cPhubbing es conceptual y emp\u00edricamente diferente de la actitud hacia los celulares, la participaci\u00f3n del tel\u00e9fono m\u00f3vil de la pareja, los conflictos con tel\u00e9fono m\u00f3vil y la adicci\u00f3n al tel\u00e9fono celular\".<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La segunda encuesta, en la que participaron 145 adultos, midi\u00f3 el \u201cPhubbing\u201d entre las parejas rom\u00e1nticas. Esto se hizo, en parte, pidiendo a los participantes a responder a la escala de nueve puntos desarrollados en la primera consulta.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Algunas \u00e1reas de medici\u00f3n en la segunda encuesta incluyeron conflictos por el tel\u00e9fono m\u00f3vil, satisfacci\u00f3n de la relaci\u00f3n, satisfacci\u00f3n con la vida, depresi\u00f3n y estilo de apego interpersonal (por ejemplo, \u201cel apego ansioso\u201d que describen personas que son menos seguros en su relaci\u00f3n).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los resultados de la consulta mostraron que 46.3 por ciento de los encuestados reportaron haber sido \u201cphubbed\u201d por su pareja.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Un 22.6 por ciento dijo que este \u201cphubbing\u201d caus\u00f3 conflictos en sus relaciones y 36.6 por ciento report\u00f3 sentirse deprimido al menos una parte del tiempo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En general, solo 32 por ciento de los consultados afirm\u00f3 que estaba muy satisfecho con su relaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cEn las interacciones cotidianas con personas significativas, las personas a menudo asumen que las distracciones moment\u00e1neas por sus tel\u00e9fonos celulares no son un gran problema\", dijo David.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cSin embargo, nuestros resultados sugieren que entre m\u00e1s frecuentes sean las interrupciones del tiempo que una pareja pasa junta, debido a que uno de ellos atiende el tel\u00e9fono celular, menos probable es que la otra persona est\u00e9 satisfecha en la relaci\u00f3n en general\u201d, alert\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Las distracciones moment\u00e1neas de una persona por atender el celular durante el tiempo que pasa con su pareja podr\u00edan disminuir la satisfacci\u00f3n de la otra persona con su relaci\u00f3n, \u201cy podr\u00eda conducir a mejorar los sentimientos de depresi\u00f3n y reducir el bienestar de ese individuo\u201d, explic\u00f3 David.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cPor lo tanto, al estar un tiempo con la propia pareja, animamos a las personas a ser conscientes de las interrupciones causadas por sus tel\u00e9fonos m\u00f3viles, ya que puede ser perjudicial para su relaci\u00f3n\", advirti\u00f3.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Notimex\/Agencia\/Dallas.- El \u201cPhubbing\u201d, como se le conoce al h\u00e1bito de una persona de ignorar a alguien en favor de un tel\u00e9fono m\u00f3vil, da\u00f1a las relaciones de pareja y conduce a hombres y mujeres a niveles m\u00e1s altos de depresi\u00f3n, revel\u00f3 hoy un nuevo estudio.","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":6657,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_seopress_robots_primary_cat":"","_seopress_titles_title":"","_seopress_titles_desc":"","_seopress_robots_index":"","_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[2,15],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-6656","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-ciencia","category-principal"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>DA\u00d1A &quot;PHUBBING&quot;
