{"id":53700,"date":"2019-04-12T17:11:25","date_gmt":"2019-04-12T23:11:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kuali.com.mx\/web\/?p=53700"},"modified":"2019-04-13T17:40:29","modified_gmt":"2019-04-13T23:40:29","slug":"nace-bebe-con-adn-de-tres-progenitores","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kuali.com.mx\/web\/2019\/04\/12\/nace-bebe-con-adn-de-tres-progenitores\/","title":{"rendered":"NACE BEB\u00c9 CON ADN DE TRES PROGENITORES"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>Afp\/Atenas.-<\/strong><\/em> Un beb\u00e9 concebido con el ADN de tres progenitores diferentes naci\u00f3 en Grecia, seg\u00fan una t\u00e9cnica controvertida utilizada por primera vez para permitir a una mujer que no era f\u00e9rtil dar a luz, inform\u00f3 el jueves el equipo m\u00e9dico grecoespa\u00f1ol que llev\u00f3 a cabo la experiencia.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>El m\u00e9todo hab\u00eda sido utilizado en 2016 en M\u00e9xico, pero en ese caso el objetivo fue evitar la transmisi\u00f3n de una enfermedad hereditaria maternal.<\/p>\n<p>En esta ocasi\u00f3n, fue una mujer griega de 32 a\u00f1os, que no hab\u00eda conseguido ser madre a pesar de varias fecundacionnes in vitro, la que se prest\u00f3 a la experimentaci\u00f3n para dar a luz un beb\u00e9 de sexo masculino de 2.960 kilos, precis\u00f3 el centro griego Institute of Live (IVF) en un comunicado.<\/p>\n<p>Mediante esta t\u00e9cnica de concepci\u00f3n asistida el equipo grecoespa\u00f1ol, dirigido por el embriologista griego Panagiotis Psathas con la ayuda del cient\u00edfico espa\u00f1ol Nu\u00f1o Costa Borges, transfiri\u00f3 el material gen\u00e9tico que contiene los cromosomas de la madre al \u00f3vulo de una donante, \"vaciado\" a su vez de su material gen\u00e9tico original.<\/p>\n<p>Una vez conseguida esa transferencia al \u00f3vulo \"portador\", \u00e9ste fue fecundado in vitro con el esperma del padre y el embri\u00f3n implantado en el \u00fatero de la madre.<\/p>\n<p>\"Hoy en d\u00eda, por primera vez en el mundo, el derecho inalienable de una mujer a convertirse en madre con su propio material gen\u00e9tico se convirti\u00f3 en una realidad\", se congratul\u00f3 el doctor Psathas, presidente del IVF en ese comunicado.<\/p>\n<p>\"Como cient\u00edficos griegos estamos muy orgullosos de anunciar una innovaci\u00f3n internacional en la procreaci\u00f3n asistida\", a\u00f1adi\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>\"A partir de ahora es posible para mujeres que han sufrido m\u00faltiples fracasos de fecundaci\u00f3n in vitro y que sufren de enfermedades gen\u00e9ticas mitocondriales raras, tener un ni\u00f1o\".<\/p>\n<p>El doctor Costa Borges, cofundador del centro Embryotools en Espa\u00f1a, salud\u00f3 por su parte \"este resultado excepcional que permitir\u00e1 a innumerables mujeres realizar su sue\u00f1o de convertirse en madres con su propio material gen\u00e9tico\", seg\u00fan su comunicado.<\/p>\n<p>Esta t\u00e9cnica conocida como transferencia de huso materno (MST, Maternal Spindle Transfer, en ingl\u00e9s) ya permiti\u00f3, en abril de 2016, que una mujer que sufr\u00eda del s\u00edndrome de Leigh, un problema metab\u00f3lico hereditario raro, pudiera ser madre de nuevo de un hijo sin esa tara gen\u00e9tica.
