Kuali\/Le\u00f3n, Gto.- Para proteger los datos de la ciudadan\u00eda el Instituto Nacional Electoral (INE) destruy\u00f3 130 545 mil credenciales para votar que fueron regresadas al instituto por personas que recibieron una nueva y, en menor cantidad, por por otros motivos, como devueltas por terceros, movimiento posterior o defunci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Comisi\u00f3n Local de Vigilancia del INE en el Estado de Guanajuato aprob\u00f3 la destrucci\u00f3n de las crerdenciales como parte de las acciones de actualizaci\u00f3n y depuraci\u00f3n del padr\u00f3n electoral, de conformidad con los art\u00edculos 136, p\u00e1rrafo 6 y 142, p\u00e1rrafo 2 de la Ley General de Instituciones y Procedimientos Electorales (LGIPE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En sesi\u00f3n ordinaria, la comisi\u00f3n dio seguimiento v\u00eda remota al proceso de trituraci\u00f3n conforme al Reglamento para la Destrucci\u00f3n de Formatos de Credencial y Credenciales para Votar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La presidenta de la Comisi\u00f3n y Vocal del Registro Federal de Electores, Ver\u00f3nica Fabiola Gonz\u00e1lez Gami\u00f1o, explic\u00f3 que la destrucci\u00f3n de credenciales evita el uso indebido de datos personales de la ciudadan\u00eda. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

El material resultante se somete a un proceso de reciclaje, previniendo su impacto negativo en el medio ambiente, ya que la credenciales son trituradas y reducidas a fragmentos m\u00ednimos y ya no es posible identificar informaci\u00f3n. Dicho material se empaqueta en bultos sellados, se concentran y se env\u00edan a una empresa recicladora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
