La salida de Ugalde fue anunciada el 31 de diciembre ante los elementos de la corporaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La alcaldesa extern\u00f3 que la seguridad evoluciona y las decisiones de gobierno tambi\u00e9n deben evolucionar para que est\u00e9n a la altura de las exigencias ciudadanas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPor eso, he tomado la determinaci\u00f3n de realizar un cambio en la conducci\u00f3n en la Secretar\u00eda de Seguridad Ciudadana; no se trata de se\u00f1alar, se trata de fortalecer; no se trata de mirar al pasado, se trata de responder al presente\u201d, anunci\u00f3 en el \u00faltimo pase de lista del a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El encargado de la Secretar\u00eda de Seguridad tiene la encomienda de tener mayor presencia policial en las calles porque la poblaci\u00f3n pide m\u00e1s cercan\u00eda y evaluaci\u00f3n de los resultados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEn este gobierno no hay espacio para la simulaci\u00f3n, la seguridad no admite pausas y mucho menos escusas, ni medias tintas\u201d, advirti\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Samantha Smith prometi\u00f3 que har\u00e1 lo necesario para que las familias capitalinas se sientan m\u00e1s seguras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cGuanajuato merece orden, protecci\u00f3n y un gobierno que asuma su responsabilidad cuando se tengan que tomar decisiones dif\u00edciles\u201d, manifest\u00f3 la panista.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A finales de marzo del 2019, el entonces alcalde, Alejandro Navarro Salda\u00f1a, design\u00f3 a Ugalde como secretario de Seguridad, tras la salida de Jos\u00e9 Luis Santos N\u00e1poles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Samuel Ugalde fue ratificado en el cargo, en la segunda administraci\u00f3n de Alejandro Navarro (2021-2024).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Cuando lleg\u00f3 Samantha Smith \u2014esposa de Alejandro Navarro\u2014 a la presidencia municipal, el 10 de octubre del 2024, volvi\u00f3 a ratificar al funcionario en la Secretar\u00eda de Seguridad. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;El encargado de la Secretar\u00eda, Mauricio V\u00e1zquez Gonz\u00e1lez, tiene 25 a\u00f1os de carrera policial.&nbsp; Era el comisario de la Polic\u00eda Preventiva de Guanajuato y subsecretario operativo de Seguridad Ciudadana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El funcionario trabaj\u00f3 16 a\u00f1os en las Fuerzas de Seguridad P\u00fablica del Estado (FSPE) y tambi\u00e9n estudi\u00f3 la licenciatura en Derecho.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Carlos Garc\u00eda\/Guanajuato, Gto.- Despu\u00e9s de casi siete a\u00f1os al frente de la Secretar\u00eda de Seguridad del municipio de Guanajuato, Samuel Ugalde Garc\u00eda fue removido del cargo por la presidenta municipal, Samantha Smith Guti\u00e9rrez.
