{"id":102323,"date":"2022-08-17T21:32:47","date_gmt":"2022-08-18T03:32:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kuali.com.mx\/web\/?p=102323"},"modified":"2022-08-18T06:39:49","modified_gmt":"2022-08-18T12:39:49","slug":"entrega-cinvestav-informacion-de-genomas-de-cultivos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kuali.com.mx\/web\/2022\/08\/17\/entrega-cinvestav-informacion-de-genomas-de-cultivos\/","title":{"rendered":"LOCALIZ\u00d3 CINVESTAV GENOMAS DE CULTIVOS ESTRAT\u00c9GICOS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><em>Kuali\/Irapuato, Gto.-<\/em><\/strong>El Laboratorio Nacional de Gen\u00f3mica para la Biodiversidad (Langebio) del Centro de Investigaciones y de Estudios Avanzados (Cinvestav) localiz\u00f3 los genomas de cultivos estrat\u00e9gicos para M\u00e9xico; con ellos se podr\u00e1 contrarrestar la coyuntura de producci\u00f3n de la agroindustria nacional y mejorarla para el consumo humano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Secretario de Agricultura y Desarrollo Rural (SADER) del Gobierno Federal, V\u00edctor Villalobos Ar\u00e1mbula, recibi\u00f3 del director del Langebio, Alfredo Herrera Estrella, los genomas de varios cultivos considerados estrat\u00e9gicos para M\u00e9xico, como el agave tequilana, la papaya, la vainilla, la zarzamora y el lim\u00f3n mexicano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estos genomas lograron ser descifrados en el Langebio con el apoyo de la SADER y del Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda (Conacyt).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El gobernador de Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodr\u00edguez Vallejo, dijo que con este proyecto se espera obtener la informaci\u00f3n necesaria para desarrollar nuevas tecnolog\u00edas y aplicaciones que aumenten la competitividad de la agroindustria mexicana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHoy es un d\u00eda hist\u00f3rico para M\u00e9xico y para la agroindustria de nuestro pa\u00eds; me llevo la tarea de ver c\u00f3mo los gobiernos impulsamos estos proyectos y c\u00f3mo podemos sacarle m\u00e1s jugo a estas investigaciones\u201d, dijo el Gobernador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es importante, agreg\u00f3, pensar en las bondades que pueden tener los cultivos, en c\u00f3mo se modifican los frutos con sus propios genes, sin hacerlos transg\u00e9nicos, poder tener productos con mayores riquezas de consumo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las aplicaciones de lo que aqu\u00ed se investiga es de alta relevancia para el mundo y es un gran avance hacer exponencial este tema.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cVamos a seguir apost\u00e1ndole al Valle de la Mentefactura. Ya vamos en rumbo y en Guanajuato tenemos claro a d\u00f3nde queremos ir; es el futuro en donde m\u00e1s oportunidad tenemos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEl gobierno debe ser facilitador para quienes tengan la iniciativa de investigar y generar conocimiento; el futuro de Guanajuato es la ciencia y la tecnolog\u00eda y hay que apostarle\u201d, dijo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Gobierno Estatal invierte en tecnolog\u00edas enfocadas en mejorar el rendimiento del campo, por ello la Unidad del Cinvestav est\u00e1 dedicada a la biotecnolog\u00eda de plantas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el evento realizado en el Laboratorio Nacional de Gen\u00f3mica para la Biodiversidad, en Irapuato, el secretario de Agricultura y Desarrollo Rural, V\u00edctor Villalobos Ar\u00e1mbula, subray\u00f3 la transcendencia de la iniciativa \u201cIntegraci\u00f3n Gen\u00f3mica para la caracterizaci\u00f3n y Mejoramiento de Cultivos Estrat\u00e9gicos para M\u00e9xico\u201d, que concluye con un trabajo cient\u00edfico que analiz\u00f3 las entra\u00f1as de cinco especies, en cuanto a su constituci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica, y aport\u00f3 al acervo de informaci\u00f3n a nivel molecular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El funcionario federal dijo que no puede continuar la explotaci\u00f3n de los recursos naturales, sin conocer su constituci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de una base cient\u00edfica, para aprovechar toda la diversidad gen\u00e9tica con la que cuenta el pa\u00eds, variedad de climas y riqueza natural privilegiada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Villalobos Ar\u00e1mbula resalt\u00f3 que la biodiversidad es la base de la alimentaci\u00f3n y M\u00e9xico ha sido una naci\u00f3n esplendida al compartirla con el resto del mundo, por lo que resalt\u00f3 hechos de gran trascendencia como los estudios gen\u00f3micos moleculares de cultivos estrat\u00e9gicos en el sector agr\u00edcola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHemos sido espl\u00e9ndidos porque hemos compartido con la humanidad especies como el ma\u00edz y muchas m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cGracias a sus aportes estamos mejor capacitados y dotados para atender los retos del futuro, y con estas herramientas, tenemos m\u00e1s capacidad puntual para hacer selecci\u00f3n y poder identificar genes. Hoy podemos activar genes para conferir habilidades productivas\u201d, dijo el Secretario federal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Y exhort\u00f3 a los investigadores a no declinar en su labor que da \u201cconfianza y esperanza\u201d para un mejor M\u00e9xico y un mejor sector agr\u00edcola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lorena Alfaro Garc\u00eda, presidenta municipal de Irapuato, destac\u00f3 la importancia del trabajo que realizan en el Cinvestav pues, con la entrega de la informaci\u00f3n sobre los genomas, se contribuir\u00e1 al cuidado y aprovechamiento de la biodiversidad de una mejor manera, para enfrentar y dar soluciones a los desaf\u00edos que afronta el sector alimentario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEn hora buena doctor V\u00edctor Villalobos Ar\u00e1mbula, por apostar a trav\u00e9s de SADER a este tipo de proyectos de la mano del Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda, mi reconocimiento tambi\u00e9n a quienes encabezan esta instituci\u00f3n del Cinvestav, porque esta Unidad Gen\u00f3mica Avanzada, est\u00e1 aportando grandes avances en la investigaci\u00f3n, junto con todos los cient\u00edficos y catedr\u00e1ticos que trabajan aqu\u00ed\u201d, coment\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el evento estuvieron presentes el Director General del Cinvestav, Jos\u00e9 Mustre de Le\u00f3n; el Secretario de Desarrollo Agroalimentario y Rural (SDAyR), Paulo Ba\u00f1uelos Rosales, adem\u00e1s de diputadas locales y federales, as\u00ed como investigadores del rubro agr\u00edcola.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Kuali\/Irapuato, Gto.-El Laboratorio Nacional de Gen\u00f3mica para la Biodiversidad (Langebio) del Centro de Investigaciones y de Estudios Avanzados (Cinvestav) localiz\u00f3 los genomas de cultivos estrat\u00e9gicos para M\u00e9xico; con ellos se podr\u00e1 contrarrestar la coyuntura de producci\u00f3n de la agroindustria nacional y mejorarla para el consumo humano.
